I was driving in to Midway/Heber and this is what I saw over the valley! It was the neatest fog over a city I have ever seen! Jason drove in before me and hoped that I had my camera so I could capture this rare moment! It was really cool and this photo turned out really good!!

I am a really lazy blogger right now! I am NOW posting pictures from my trip to Florida! I didn't do alot to take photos but the ones I did take...I love!!!

Florida - Day 3, 4, & 5

I am back again blogging about my Days 3, 4, & 5. Day 3 was Friday. Mom and I went out to Wal-Mart and went shopping for the house. We bought lots of great things. I bought some great things for Jason's classroom for Halloween! They are the cutest goodie bags I have ever seen and they are filled with great things for them! We also went to the Harley Davidson store out here to pick up a shirt for Jason and they were having such a great sale that I bought a shirt for me! (The deal was $19.98 when you buy 2 or more...) They are great shirts and I think he will love it! We also went to Publix, Kohl's, the Library, the Dollar Store, the gas station, Walgreens, Avenue, and the bank! It was alot of fun just hanging out with my Mama again! Then we came home and had beef and noddles...my favorite...for dinner! Oh yummmy!

Day 4 - Saturday is FOOTBALL!!!! And Ohio State came to play and womped Wisconsin 31-13...sorry Angela! We made cookies (Pumpkin Raisin & Oatmeal Scotches) and got ready for the adult session of Stake Conference. It was so fun and I loved seeing all of our friends.

Day 5 - Sunday was Stake Conference. I was able to see even more people then the night before and visit with some friends we have NOT seen in a long time! Those friends were President and Sister King. What fun it was to sit with them at Conference and visit with them after not seeing them for years. They moved back to FL after the church put out the call for couples needed to work in the Orlando Temple. I was so happy to see them and sit with them. We came home and Angela met us here to help clean up for the Open House. We had so much fun visiting with friends and having dinner and eating treats. I took photos of everyone that was able to come and I will post those later!

Tomorrow is a filled day again! I will take photos and post them on Tuesday! Hopefully tomorrow night I will be able to post before I leave. I can not believe my week is over and it is time to go home! I feel like I just got to FL and it is not time to leave! I know that it will be emotional for my dad but my Mama & I have planned that each Fall either I or both Jason and I will be out here to visit! See everyone next year!!!

Florida - Day 2

Today was day 2 in Florida but officially a full day 1. I flew in Wednesday afternoon 30 mins early and forgot how HUMID Florida really is and will always be! We surprised my dad big time...we tried really hard to keep it a secret and we succeded! We picked up a pizza and mom walked in first followed by me with my stuff! He was so surprised and so excited that if he could run he would have! Then Angela came over and we talked for an hour! I was so tired at 11:45pm but couldn't sleep because it was 9:45pm in Utah! Now I am paying for it today!

This morning (Thursday), I got up when my mom left for work and got ready for the day! Mind you it was 6:00am in Utah! I picked up Angela and we headed over to Chick-fil-A to visit with everyone I use to work with and grab a bite to eat! Then we headed over to Waterford and looked around the shops. Everything is still the same there! Then we ventured over to the Harley Davidson store! Anyone who knows me knows I would NOT miss an opportunity to come out to Florida and NOT make it to the Harley Davidson store I watched them build! Angela and I tooked photos on the motorcycles and I am taking mom on Friday! Then I took Angela home and went to pick up my mom from work! I met everyone at her office that has been dying to meet me for the last 3 years! Well, here I am! Then mom, Karen and I went and had a nice lunch at Subway and a really nice visit! We came home to watch the Devil Wears Prada! Such a cute movie! Mom showed me how to make one of my favorite dinners...Skillet Spaghetti...YUM!

Tomorrow through Monday we have extremely busy days! We are shopping, football, church/open house, and dr. appts! I miss Jason terribly but know that with each sun that sets here brings Tuesday that much closer! I can't wait to upload all the photos I will take! Each day I will update with what we did and how much I miss Jason! =)

Peaches!

It is that time of year again! F-A-L-L!!!! I love this time of year, especially in Utah. The leaves are changing, there is a GOOD nip in the air and it's time to can, for reals!!!! Or should I say finally! This year we are canning peaches, MAYBE peach pie filling, and apple pie filling. I went to the Farmer's Market the other night with a friend and as we were looking at the 12 booths they had set up we started asking how much their boxes of peaches were. I need alot of peaches because Jason and I both love them and last year I got NONE! So we stopped by one booth and she said she sold her's for $15 a box and filled them FULL! I told her to go for it and fill to her hearts content because I need all the peaches I could get. I bought 2 boxes and brought them home! I was so anxious to really see how many peaches I got so I put them on our scale! And the answer is...one box was 28.6 pounds the other box 32.4!!! Ahh...so many peaches! I totally got a bargain and could not be happier at this point!

School, is going great for us! We are super busy with school, Jason's lodge and the house! We are trying to keep it clean and sort of failing! Don't ask how because we don't even have kids yet!!! But we are keeping busy and loving it! I have chosen to work/volunteer in Jason's room for my community service hours and help out on Fridays! I love it there! The kids are so dang cute and his kids are so easy to work with! I wish I could have more time there! But that is us for now! Stay tuned for more photos this weekend after...cannning!!!

August Happenings

I have NO excuse why I can't update our blog...but I just can't seem to find time anymore! Not like we are busy or anything! I thought I would post about our recent happenings and then post some pictures as well! We have not had a weekend to ourselves in quite sometime! So the weekend before school for both of us and Jason's work starts back we get a quiet, clean like freaks weekend! We are so excited! So recently we have been driving our new car alot! I love driving it! I call it my zippy car! It is so much fun to drive and now it is clean all the time! Jason just recently got back from an over-night motorcycle trip with his dad and brother. They had a lot of fun and were really tired when they got home.

This is the boys getting ready to go to Twin Falls, ID. They stopped at a KOA and went swimming, cracked jokes and got very few hours of sleep. They then stopped in Shoshone Falls and man are they pretty! Shoshone Falls is TALLER then Niagra Falls but not wider.

I also biffed it going down some stairs at Jason's work. I won't post pictures but the brusing looks pretty cool! I was in a splint for 13 days and on crutches for 5 days. I am all better now! Quite the story...and it was just sprained.

As a family we all decided to end our summer on a happy note and we went to Seven Peaks in Provo. We were all very tired by the end of the day. Jason and I were extremely burnt too. We are starting to heal now and we itch all the time! I don't know what is worse the burn or the itch?? It was very fun but a little chilly! Jason and Terry I think had the most fun out of the adults! We also had a very lovely dutch oven dinner at Grandpa's that Sunday! I love dutch oven!!

School is starting soon and we will be very busy! Jason will be home Friday, Saturday and Sunday once school starts. We have 2 classes together so that will be our little date nights together. I am also going to visit my parents in FL..sometime soon! I am not allowed to say when because we are planning on surprising my dad! I am very excited though! I will be visiting his dr's to make sure everything is fine! 2 of his dr's haven't seen me in almost 3 years and they are anxious to have me come out! Mama & Angela can't wait either! Well until more adventures happen...which happen more often then I can blog about them!!

Biggest Decision!!

Jason and I made a very big decision last night! WE GOT RID OF OUR VAN!! Our van has officially been turned into a 2009 Hyundai Accent GS 2 door with hatchback, Tango Red (more like burnt orange), and MANUAL! I don't really know how to drive a manual but I am learning QUICKLY! We love the car! I think it is a little small and Jason thinks since it fits him in the front and the back it's just fine...hey...what do I know right?!?! But I love it! We have NO A/C and NO radio...which out here you really don't need A/C! And plus who wants to spend $3000-$6000 more for those two features! Not me!

So how did we get this car you ask? We stole it off the lot! Ok NO...but pretty darn close! The government is doing this "Cash for Clunker" deal! Where you can get $3500-$4500 for your clunker to put towards a new car! Well our van BARELY met the qualifications for $4500 but we did it! We walked off with a BRAND NEW vehicle for less then $10K! I am so very happy! We are going to go show Jason's family tonight and we are going to take pictures then! It's really a cute car and I have never been happier! (Except when I had my Dodge) I just kept saying this is good, this is good, I know this is good!! And it very much is great! All of our friends and family, who know us ALL to well, are holding bets to see how long we keep it clean! Let me tell you...it will be awhile! (Before it needs to be cleaned out)
